Sr. Manager, Marketing Programs
As a key member of our Demand Generation Team, the Senior Manager, Marketing Programs will oversee a group of Marketing Programs Managers who develop and execute marketing plans for the Softchoice sales teams.
This role ensures the success through support and strong leadership, enabling Marketing Programs Managers to succeed. The ideal candidate is a data driven individual with a strong sales mindset, and able to define and refine an ideal set of go-to-market processes and marketing channels strategies to drive successful year long and short-term programs.
The Senior Manager, Marketing Programs will be responsible for marketing contribution to revenue targets, programs performance and budgets.
A successful Senior Manager, Marketing Programs thrives in cross-functional roles working alongside other marketers, product, sales and leadership.
A coach at heart, and a player when needed, the ideal candidate will take the initiative to drive the planning and support the execution of targeted, integrated marketing campaigns, leveraging a full marketing mix of tactics and channels to deliver sales and margin objectives, while always developing the Marketing Programs team.
As our Sr. Manager, Marketing Programs, you will :
Work closely and collaboratively with our Sales Leadership team on campaign planning and execution
Work closely and collaboratively with our Product & Solutions Marketing team on marketing alignment with our corporate strategy, long-term marketing plans for their categories, and Partner campaigns
Lead the planning, design and the execution processes of demand generation (acquisition, expansion, retention, pipeline acceleration, win-back, etc.
and retention programs
Work with the Marketing Programs Managers on developing detailed program plans (segments, marketing channel mix, tactics, cadence, lead flow / assignment, etc.
based on goals and objectives set with the Sales, and Product & Solutions Marketing teams
Support the Marketing Programs Managers on analyzing audience segmentation and adjusting messaging accordingly; and on program performance analysis and attribution.
Accountable and responsible for the companywide integrated campaigns / programs calendar
Work closely with Product & Solutions Marketing, and Brand & Communications teams on awareness and sales enablement programs
Work closely with marketing channel managers (Digital, Events, BDRs), who will collaborate with best practices and support program activities
Collaborate with subject matter experts within internal and external teams to align on program development
Be accountable for overall programs results, assuring they are launched, executed, and optimized through strong data analysis, project management, and collaboration with stakeholders
Gather the voice of customer and sales input to define / refine marketing tactics
Bring an always be testing mindset to every program execution plan
Analyze the performance of programs and make data-based recommendations to optimize effectiveness
Fully manage overall program performance and attribution to marketing KPIs, including MQLs, SQLs, Pipeline and Revenue contribution (source and influence)
Act like a player / coach, working closely with your team of Marketing Program Managers, driving their development into Demand Generation overachievers;
and whenever needed, roll up your sleeves and provide hands-on support
As our ideal candidate, you will have :
10+ years’ experience in demand generation and / or sales in a B2B company (tech preferred), designing and executing programs that closely align with Sales channels objectives
5+ years’ experience working closely with sales teams; with direct and influenced contribution to pipeline and revenue generation
5+ years’ experience managing a small team of direct reports
5+ years’ experience leading cross-functional projects, working with both internal and external resources, with ability to navigate a matrix-managed and geographically dispersed organization
Strong working knowledge of Content Marketing, SEM, Social and email marketing
Customer centric : Focus and ability to understand the needs of our customers and prospect at every level
Proven experience with marketing automation and CRM (Salesforce.com)
3+ years’ experience planning and executing Account Based Marketing programs (preferred)
Sales experience (preferred)
