Role

Reporting to the Director, Digital Solutions - Pre-investment, the Business Analyst helps to develop the product line. This person is responsible for ascertaining and analyzing business needs and translating them into accounts and acceptance criteria for development teams.

The analyses and contacts with business sectors make it possible to develop solutions to be implemented. In addition, the Business Analyst is in charge of ensuring that solutions are in keeping with the defined needs by testing them and supporting business sectors in managing the resulting changes.

The analyst also works upstream in the process and plays a role in developing scalable solution architectures based on knowledge of finance and technology.

The analyst works with the business sectors, product managers, the business architecture and technology teams, while taking part in developing solution architectures, analyses and accounts, test strategies and the configuration of Dynamics 365 software.

This person is curious, versatile, well organized and comfortable in a fast-paced and changing environment and has very strong interpersonal skills to build relationships based on trust with colleagues within the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Support business partners;Grasp, identify and state business and technological issues;Develop innovative solutions, working with designers, developers and architects;
  • Present the various proposed solutions to the various stakeholders within the organization and during committee meetings;
  • Support business lines in ascertaining their needs;Develop functional files, strategies and test cases;Configure the Dynamics 365 system;
  • Ensure solution quality;Support users when changes are implemented;Ensure the development and release of system documentation;Lead various meetings.

    Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in computer science, financial engineering or administration;At least four years of relevant professional experience;
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered;Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement;Finance / investment experience would be considered an asset;
  • Ability to work in complex technological environments;Bilingual (French and English).
