OpenRoad Auto Group is currently seeking to expand our team with a Full-Time Videographer at OpenRoad Auto Group Head Office- Marketing.

  • Strategize and coordinate video and photo content for calendar : internal and external marketing
  • Create corporate and dealership videos : events, vehicle model walkarounds, used inventory, how-to, staff training, announcements, campaigns, brand message
  • Develop multimedia content, video and audio storytelling
  • Coordinate casting, location scouting, scheduling and scripts
  • Set up, operate and break down cameras, stabilizers, lighting and audio equipment, and props for shoots
  • Capture B roll and prepare live feeds
  • Interview people
  • Work with third-party suppliers
  • Source music and visual assets
  • Maintain and troubleshoot video, lighting and audio equipment
  • Work closely with dealerships, stakeholders, Marketing team members including Creative Manager, Content Marketing Specialist, and mini-departments
  • Be self-sufficient start to finish in all aspects of video, photo and audio post-production
  • Research and use technology platforms
  • Adhere to OEM standards, coop guidelines as applicable, and brand guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  • What it takes to be part of our dynamic team :

  • Two years experience in a video content role supported by a strong and successful portfolio in photo and video shooting and post-production
  • Strong knowledge and skills working with video and audio equipment
  • High proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects
  • Strong understanding of social platforms and audience engagement
  • Experience creating content in many formats and styles
  • Highly creative with strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills and adherence to deadlines
  • Excellent communication, listening and relationship skills
  • Outstanding multitasking abilities
  • Highly self-motivated to work long and flexible hours : events, evenings, weekends
  • Own vehicle and valid BC Class 5 driver’s license with clean driving record
