1 Basic Purpose of the Position
Jazz Aviation LP iscurrently looking for an experienced SharePoint and ECM professional to supportthe continued development of our current SharePoint Online environment andmigration of our on-
premises file shares to SharePoint Online. This is a permanentposition, commencing July 15, 2019.
The SharePointAdministrator will be responsible for architectural design and configurations, webpart development, workflows, integrations, security, management, reporting,maintenance and troubleshooting of our SharePoint implementations.
The incumbent will support the establishmentof the approved data classifications, labels, retention and dispositionpolicies and assist in identifying content to be archived or deleted andsupport content migration activities.
Identify opportunities to enhance data governance andsecurity through new SharePoint deployments and create proposals, projectplans, and schedules.
Working with the business units, identify and address ROTcontent for archiving and deletion.
Coordinate information asset discovery, inventory andclassification activities using established methodologies.
Develop SharePoint Migration plans and migrate content fromon-premises file shares and other cloud-based repositories to SharePoint Online,providing information classification and labeling as part of the migrationactivities.
Design SharePoint architecture, create sites, lists, libraries,views, forms, workflows, and web parts
Develop and implement appropriate workflow strategies basedon organizational requirements using Microsoft Flow.
Develop appropriate document management solutions based onunique organizational requirements and working directly with businessstakeholders, develop integrations to existing document management tools.
Provide in-depth senior level technical knowledge and postimplementation support including workarounds, root cause analysis, andpermanent resolutions.
Review and resolve support tickets through our IT servicemanagement system ensuring resolutions fall within agreed SLA’s.
Provide technical support for integrations and upgrades ofother corporate ECM systems.
Monitor for new SharePoint features and functionality andensure changes are properly communicated and tested
Create and manage change requests for enhancements toexisting deployments.
Provide communication and updates to various stakeholders asrequired.
Working with the business units, develop test scripts andcoordinate unit and end-user acceptance testing.
Develop and maintain user documentation, documentcustomizations made to the out-of-the-box SharePoint environment and design anddeliver training to the business.
Provide product recommendations for migration software. Install and configure migration tools and migrate content from on-
premises file shares and cloud-based content management platforms.
Establish and maintain retention, disposition and classification policies
Working within the ITIL and SDLC frameworks, ensure appropriate, effective and secure change management principles are adhered to.
Manage, monitor and communicate any system outages and monitor KPIs for usage stats and other metrics.
Manage and forecast SharePoint environment growth, maintaining budget targets.
Post-secondary degree / diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the IT field. A minimum of 3 years recent hands-on experience with Microsoft SharePoint with a recent focus on migration to Office 365.
Expertise creating solutions with Microsoft SharePoint, SharePoint Designer, SharePoint Framework, Forms, Flow and other web applications.
Demonstrated ability to apply Electronic Content Management principles and methodologies in real world situations.
Demonstrated skill and experience with the administrative functions of Office 365, PowerShell, SQL, HTML, JSON.
Strong business orientation and demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into outstanding UX that capitalizes on SharePoint capabilities.
Understanding and practical experience with SDLC and ITIL processes for development and change management.
Experience with requirements gathering and documentation.
Strong project management skills and experience with project. management methodologies and tools such as MS Project, Azure DevOps
Strong oral and written communication skills and able to interact with all levels of management.
Experience creating and delivering presentations and training.
Demonstrated team player with a willingness to learn and work in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure on multiple projects while maintaining a high degree of professional work performance and building strong relationships as a trusted partner within the business.
