Purpose : Reporting to the Manager, Student Advising and in collaboration with the Director of Strategic Policy and Planning, the Enrolment Coordinator contributes to student success, satisfaction and retention in the Lassonde School of Engineering by assisting and facilitating enrolment planning and troubleshooting.
The incumbent will assist with the implementation of assessment and data tools as well as identify, analyze, and utilize existing data to help inform enrolment projections and decisions.
In addition, the Enrolment Coordinator will provide support to the Student Welcome and Support Centre (SWSC) and the academic departments (currently 4 departments and approximately 4000 students) within the Lassonde School of Engineering with respect to student enrolment planning, trends, and challenges.
In consultation with the management team and in cooperation with University services, the incumbent will foster and realize a climate of student centeredness, service excellence and continuous improvement.
Education : Undergraduate University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analysis, Math, or related discipline or an equivalent of 4 years recent experience (defined as within the last five years) working at York University and performing the same or similar tasks.
This education equivalency is in addition to the experiential requirements outlined below.
Experience : Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in data analysis, documentation, and reporting. Experience must include business intelligence and data visualization.
Experience in a post-secondary environment is preferred. Experience with Student Information Systems (SIS) and related applications and Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRM) are an asset.
