Bold is looking for an Ecommerce Strategic Developer who is up for the challenge of using their strategic, technical, and soft skills to help our biggest brands.
Reporting to our Manager of Solutions Consulting and Advisory Services, you will be part of a team that is critical to the execution of our sales and go-to-market strategies to brands, ultimately driving value for their business and Bold.
We want someone who loves rolling up their sleeves to get things done, but who can also pivot to different priorities. If you are a developer who is looking to explore and step into the unfamiliar, this role is for you!
What you’ll do
Develop, maintain, and customize ecommerce demo applications for use in enterprise sales
Develop and maintain an internal SaaS platform for deploying and managing customized web applications
Build and maintain expertise on the technical aspects of Bold's products (largely APIs)
Act as "customer zero" for Bold's products; you will build and maintain relationships with various product teams, providing real-world testing and feedback on up-and-coming features
Work with our partner team by presenting solutions, assisting them with designing integrations, and enabling partner agencies to consume Bold’s offerings
Provide feedback to teammates on use of demos, systems, and improvement ideas as well as code reviews
Review and make recommendations to improve existing documents and presentation decks
Present various aspects of our solutions to partners and customers, helping them to understand the technical nuances and design our products

What we’re looking for
A work ethic that demonstrates a dedication and commitment to Bold’s mission and belief in our
Post-secondary education in computer science or related field
1-3 years of experience in a developer role
Experience with one of the major Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and willing to apply skills to our GCP environment
Working knowledge of Docker and Linux stacks in general
Understanding of the common elements of an ecommerce stack (Platform, CMS, Tax, Fraud, ERP, OMS) and able to explain their roles
Knowledge and experience with DevOps and Development Automation Processes
Ability to explain happy path use cases between all systems and common edge cases
Ability to dig deep into requests to gain an understanding of what needs to be done
Able to re-prioritize when needed based on changing priorities and direction from leadership
Able to make decisions within own work stream and look for clarification when needed
Experience within the ecommerce domain or related domain (OMS, PIM, etc)
Experience working with ecommerce platforms is an asset (Woo Commerce, BigCommerce, CommerceTools, Magento, etc.)
