POSTING NUMBER : 103418 S AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY : is responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance of building systems equipment at assigned facilities and Inspect, operate, maintain and repair building systems equipment including but not limited to heating boilers, chillers, cooling towers, HVAC equipment, cold and hot water systems, pumps, generators, uninterruptible power supplies, Fire and life safety systems, etc.
and ensure all equipment are operated in a safe and efficient manner and in compliance with all applicable government codes and regulations.
Perform daily rounds and record readings of all building systems (equipment) in a timely manner. Use computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to administer preventive and demand maintenance tasks.
Perform snow clearing duties and checks, as required Performs regular inspection of safety equipment including fire alarm and sprinkler systems.
Over two (2) years, up to and including four (4) years experience in building maintenance. Ability to work all shifts including weekends for a 24 / 7 building operations team across all city facilities as assigned Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
