About the role
The Portfolio Enablement and Tools Manager oversees all aspects of the tooling in support of the planning, delivery and tracking of the IT projects.
The enablement and tooling manager is the application owner of Clarity, the tool used for initiative creation and tracking.
The Portfolio Enablement and Tools Team is focused on CA Clarity PPM functionality, including its evolution, development, and operational support.
The team also provides and supports the tools for the evolution of portfolio reporting capabilities (PowerBI).
What you’ll do here :
Reporting to the Director, Planning and Portfolio Management (PPM), the manager works collaboratively with the other PPM Managers, exchanging ideas, working on improvements of process and ensuring the alignment between the PPM processes and the tools.
Liaise and maintain relationships with the tool vendors via procurement and Intact stakeholders
Drive the implementation of evolution, improvements and change to the supported tools.
Define, own and drive the delivery of the PPM tooling roadmap and tooling performance.
Manage communications and stakeholders in collaboration with the change and communication lead.
Manage changes to the PPM tools, schedule and test using appropriate verification techniques
Report progress, risks, challenges, and engage management as needed
Manage a dynamic team composed of tool administrators and developers.
Accountable for the services delivered by the team to support the business needs as per the quality standards identified.
Manage the Product and system production support.
Act as the application owner of Clarity.
What you bring to the table :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
5+ years experience as both a consumer and provider of Clarity functionality in multi-stakeholder environment is a must
Knowledge of IT Intake, Capacity Planning and Project Management practices and processes is preferable
Product and system production support experience, preferably Clarity specific
Efficiency with Microsoft Office, Project, Teams, SharePoint
Work experience in a virtual environment
Experience in resource matrix management
