You are a developer who specializes in writing code to test the product and have extensive experience in writing test cases and creating automated scripts.
Our Technology team goes above and beyond to ensure our software systems are robust and highly maintainable. This role will report to the Manager of Quality Assurance.
This is a full-time position in our downtown Vancouver HQ, walking distance from shops, restaurants, and public transit.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties : You will drive growth in the team’s automation coverage including design and implementation of the test frameworkPlan, execute, monitor automated tests to analyze and publish results and interpretation, within scheduled deadlinesSetup test data as required to reproduce issues and execute positive, negative and edge case automation testingFollow the process for defect management, release testing and overall product quality assuranceCreate and maintain automated test process documentation, scripts and toolsCollect and provide test metrics and reportsAs needed, assist support with reproducing, diagnosing and resolving customer issuesMentor and lead QA staff to ensure high quality outputTake charge and ownership of all things automated QA regressionKey / Technical Skills : Experience in the development, design and maintenance of an automation framework and library of automated tests for web API clients, REST and / or SOAPProven test development experience.
In this position you will spend more than 75% of the time writing code, so strong development skills are requiredStrong experience in using industry standard tools to develop and maintain automated user acceptance test suites and tying them into the Continuous Integration processSolid experience writing and executing automation test scripts using software testing frameworks such as Selenium Webdriver, Cucumber, SOAPUI, etcSolid experience with the following technologies : C#, .
