Account Manager Automation / Material Handling
Our client is a reputable, publicly traded organization providing engineering services and building services (HVAC, automation etc.
to customers globally. They have asked Paul Cannon of Lock Search Group to assist them in their search for an Account Manager for their automated material handling systems division.
This position will cover the GTA territory.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop new solutions sales business through prospecting and networking
Implement sales plans for the assigned accounts
Analyze and identify issues with key accounts’ distribution systems and works with Application Engineering and other team members to develop proposed solutions
Leads the sales process as necessary to profitably meet or exceed sales goals
Represents the Solutions Team at assigned sales activities such as industry trade shows, trade organizations, and customer training
Post Secondary education in a technical field preferred
5+ years of experience in material handling sales to the distribution or manufacturing market
Technical or sales proficiency in the Warehouse Controls Systems, controls, and mechanical elements highly preferred
Knowledge of with electrical and mechanical systems
Ability to analyze and solve customer material handling requirements
Proficient with Microsoft Office and, after training, Salesforce CRM
Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
