Reporting to the Project Manager, Windows 10 SAC Readiness and Sustainment the Change and Governance Lead will leverage change management and governance knowledge and capabilities to support Windows 10 SAC change readiness and transition activities to deliver a successful implementation of Windows 10.

The following services are expected :

  • Support Program Director and PM Windows 10 SAC Readiness and Sustainment in defining and drafting Windows 10 Semi Annual Channel (SAC) approach and strategy.
  • Define a Governance Model specific to Win 10 release management (e.g. stakeholders, scope, decision matrix, etc.) including regular monitoring cycles and overall management / accountability for Windows 10 LTSC / SAC.
  • Develop and execute the Windows 10 SAC Communications and Change management plans to support Win 10 release management.
  • Liaise with IMITS Communications to develop and execute effective communications and change management plans
  • Develop an engagement strategy, plan and schedule to support Windows 10 SAC readiness activities.
  • Complete a stakeholder analysis to support work conducted by Windows 10 SAC Business Analysts and Change Analysts.
  • Provide thought leadership to support Windows 10 SAC planning, development and implementation ensuring appropriate context and advice are incorporated into framework development, readiness activities and transition to sustainment.
  • Work with Leadership and all relevant stakeholder teams to identify, document, manage, and resolve issues and risks identified including mitigating change impacts.
  • Lead Change Analysts in support of communications and engagement toolkits (including templates, key messages, etc.).
  • Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

  • Draft reports, briefing notes, and other supporting documentation for senior management and governance working groups.
  • Lead, inform and develop use cases as well as design, develop and implement new processes, systems and enhancements.
  • Oversee and complete business / clinical / technical analysis and process re-engineering activities as well as identifying gaps, risks and opportunities.
  • Facilitate meetings (inclusive of agenda, minutes and other meeting materials)
  • Produce presentation and training materials, status reports, etc. and other related administrative tasks
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Core Deliverables include :

  • A documented Windows 10 framework and approach (including all supportive written materials).
  • Windows 10 Governance Model (including RACI, decision-making criteria and meeting cadence and integration with existing Change Advisory Board - CAB).
  • Communications and Change Manage plans (specific to Windows 10 SAC).
  • Stakeholder analysis and engagement plan.
  • Communication and Engagement tool-kits.
  • Training Materials to support transition to Windows 10 SAC.
  • Documentation processes, workflows, policies and procedures.
