Primary Responsibilities

  • Support Cornwall site engineering and EHS.
  • Establishes project goals by evaluating project proposals, plans and consulting with local management.
  • Update and manage site & process P&ID’s using AutoCAD.
  • Analyze current manufacturing process and perform value stream mapping.
  • Create and update SOPs and JSAs.
  • Assist Maintenance with technical inquires and support PM documentation.
  • Assist S4 HANA Maintenance module implementation.
  • Assist EHS with RC14001 certificate preparation for the site.
  • Participate in the PSM Program.
  • Work on capital projects and communicate with the Liquid Industrial Ops Engineering Manager in the United States.

  • Use scientific, mathematical, and engineering principles to solve problems and improve processes.
  • Design, propose, implement, review, and correct plans to ensure company goals are achieved.
  • Observe production processes, conduct research, and find ways to increase efficiency and quality.
  • Use computers to compile and analyze data.
  • Establish safety and waste management procedures.
  • Design, implement, troubleshoot, test, and improve processes, equipment, and facilities.
  • Assist with establishing budgets and timelines.
  • Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.
  • 3-5 years project management experience
  • 3-5 years manufacturing experience
  • Strong understanding of chemistry, mathematics, biology, and engineering principles.
  • Ability to cooperate and communicate with others, especially those without a technical background.
  • High Computer literacy.
  • Exceptional problem solving, verbal and written communication, presentation, and project management skills.
