We are currently seeking a Network Analyst to join our Business Technology Solutions team. You're ready to be responsible for the design, deployment, maintenance and support of Prospera’s network assets.
You have solid experience identifying infrastructure requirements. You have a successful track record implementing appropriate information security policies, activities and controls for data.

What you’ll do :
Maintain Infrastructure
Provide day-to-day operations and governance of all infrastructure within internal and external data centers and networks
Contributes to capacity planning, technical designs, deployments, installation and administration of technology related hybrid cloud environment (Microsoft 365, Azure and Azure AD) SAN, UC, Windows server system, Citrix system, VMWare system, Cisco switches, e-mail, antivirus and intrusion prevention, firewall, network security, VPN, Wireless and remote access.
Maintains up-to-date documentation for server build, network configuration, network diagram, etc.
Maintains and monitors the Data Centre facility and provides emergency assistance and off-hours call out for critical maintenance to the host data center infrastructure.
Monitor technical status of backup and ensure electronic information and data base systems are backed up in such a manner that effective and timely recovery and restore is possible.
Must ensure backup replication to the Disaster Recovery site is in synch.
Tests and configures new network components for compatibility with network infrastructure (LAN and WAN). Supports all network operational requirements and maintains the network management and SNMP environment.
Ensure all hardware is fully patched and supported. Coordinates and performs network hardware firmware upgrade, software upgrades, OS patching, and administration of VoIP systems Implements requests for hardware and software installations, both for internal and external communications (e.
g. routers, data / voice-line links, etc.). Ensures successful installations are completed on schedule.
Identifies problems with hardware and / or software and repairs / replaces hardware components in the system, if necessary.
Software concerns are reported to the designated person and will actively participate in the resolution of the problem(s).
Vendor Management
Contribution and work with key Infrastructure suppliers
Evaluate and select applications and services to meet the needs of Prospera Etc.
Review vendor proposals regarding the purchasing and / or upgrade of new and existing systems
Deliver against procurement policies, procedures and programs with a focus on their ability to enhance organizational value and efficiency
Manage relationship and delivery of vendor services to manage risk and ensure they meet required standards
Disaster Recovery
Executing task and Identify risks to ensure failovers are in place to avoid single points of failure to meet RTOs and RPOs
Participating annual DR tests, document results and remediate any RTO gaps.
Ensure all Network Analyst understand their roles and responsibilities.
Infrastructure Project Management
Ensure infrastructure projects follow the established project management framework and project changes follow internal change / release management procedures
Leads small to medium initiatives and projects and provides technical assistance to other teams to ensure that appropriate security controls and technologies are implemented.
Participate in and execute data center strategy including cloud migrations and cloud management.
Co-ordinate internal and external project resources.
Develops project and resource plans, to facilitate execution of design, testing, implementation, integration and upgrade strategies of corporate programs.
Developing critical path timelines, project plans, metrics to facilitate successful project planning and execution.
Ensures all key stakeholders are included in the process.
Develops test plans, scripts and conducts quality assurance testing.
Co-ordinates user acceptance testing of system changes if required.
Co-ordinates user training, if necessary, with Internal or external services.
What you bring : Education
Education
Post-secondary certificate
Experience
3 5 years of relevant experience in Infrastructure Operations
Licenses or Certifications
VMware Certified Professional (VCP);
Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA);
Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP).
Palo Alto Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA)
Competencies
Experience in configuring cloud computing (Azure and AWS)
Experience in configuring and installing network hardware components and cabling
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently deal with people at all levels.
Experience in troubleshooting to rectify any problems that may occur
Experience with DNS, SMTP, DHCP, VPN, SFTP, TFTP Internet protocols and services and data communication products Cisco IOS, switches configuration (VLAN, OSPF, BGP, QoS, etc.)
Experience with Storage Area Network (SAN) technology including Hitachi SAN, Storage Virtualization, FC Switches
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Veeam and data backup, alternative site and data replication strategies
Experience with firewalls, routers, switching environments utilizing technology from PaloAlto, Fortinet, Cisco, HP
Experience with Citrix Systems Products, XenDesktop, VMware & Hyper- V in clustered environments
Experience with Appsense Management Suite; HP Blade System;
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server System (Exchange, Active Directory, DFS, NLB, Windows Clustering etc.);
Experience deploying a variety of software programs, Microsoft O365 and single sign on
Knowledge of Project Management theory and practice.
