The mandate of this new role will be to lead and manage all testing activities on the platform (FUT, QA, SIT, Performance, Simulation / Parallel) as well as, QA Engineering and automation work on the SAP platform through Worksoft and related tools.
The Successful Candidate will :
Work closely with Worksoft experts on strategy and roadmap for the Bank.
Develop overall test strategy and approach, working with other key SAP GL leaders (eg STO for GL Dev, STO for Basis and Security, STO for Data Integration, STO for Release Mgmt, Finance Business Process lead, etc.).
The to be approach will allow the GL program to achieve higher throughput of new functional and regression testing, given fixed timeframes required to meet delivery milestones.
Skill Sets :
1.Managing Complex Projects
a.Experience managing complex projects across business units and countries
b.Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders throughout a project lifecycle
c.Demonstrated ability to assess the interdependencies of work processes very quickly Adaptable, flexible, well organized, and creative Working knowledge of General Ledger processes
a.Excellent interpersonal, influence and verbal / written communication skills
b.Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities
c.Track record of successful partnerships with leaders at all levels
3.Development Manager Skills
a.Proven ability to manage a development team.
b.Experience at BMO in an STO or like role.
c.SAP experience, specifically with S / 4 HANA and related solutions
d.Finance / Accounting experience is an advantage.
4.QA Manager Skills
a.Experience managing a QA team.
b.Familiarity with QA testing methodologies. Experience with QA using multiple development models (SDLC, agile, iterative, etc.)
c.Experience with automated test tools, QA scripting, HPALM.
d.Experience using Worksoft.
