The Tissue Group, a division of Cascades, is the second-largest tissue producer in Canada and the fifth-largest in North America.

The Division manufactures, converts and markets a huge selection of paper products, such as hand towels, bathroom tissue, facial tissue, napkins, paper towels, wipers and dispensers for the North American away-

from-home and consumer products markets. The Group has more than 2,200 employees and operates seven manufacturing plants, nine conversion plants and four plants with both manufacturing and conversion facilities.

Position responsibilities

  • Provide technical insights in order to support the innovation team in developing and launching new products
  • Project coordination and management - Responsible for planning and coordinating activities related to research and development
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with colleagues, scientists, production staff and suppliers
  • Monitor project activities and timelines, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Business Objectives Alignment

    Provide specialized intervention related to his expertise, to ensure that business objectives are achieved

    Operational Excellence

    Deliver what is expected on time and within the budget

    Ensure the continuity of gains related to the mandate

    Maximize a synergy of resources (internal / external)

    Make specific recommendations about opportunities for improvement

    Ensure compliance with standardized best practices (SLA, mandate acceptance, project management processes, etc.) in all his unit’s areas of activity

    Ensure knowledge transfer among team members

    Participate in developing and implementing an OSH culture in which OSH is recognized as a value

    College diploma in Engineering or Sciences

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Sciences

    Desired experience

    1-3 ans d’expérience technique pertinente
