We are helping our client, XX Bank to look for a Commercial Account Manager / Lending Officer. This financial institute continues to expand in Canada and continues to deliver superior customer value to the clients.

They are all about their clients, their business, and their people. It continues to expand its Commercial Banking operation in both Greater Vancouver and Greater Toronto area.

They are looking for a highly self-motivated, enthusiastic, and goal-oriented professional equipped with strong client relationship management skills and extensive experience in relationship selling in both Vancouver and Toronto areas.

Job Duties :

  • Identifying, acquiring, and developing new business opportunities related to commercial lending and financing.
  • Build long-term profitable loan portfolio with existing clients while achievement short-term lending target to support high growth strategy.
  • Develop and execute individual marketing strategies while ensuring alignment with portfolio objectives and corporate goals.
  • Maintain strong relationship based selling skills, client relationship management, and networking skills.
  • Exercise sound credit judgment to ensure high-quality loans through sales focused strategy to generate high-quality loan proposals.
  • Develop strong network of referral sources by leveraging on existing networks through active involvement and participation with the business community.
  • Keep abreast of local business opportunity and exercise sensible judgement in acquiring new commercial loan cases.
  • Qualifications :

  • Required Experience- Banking : 2 years
  • University degree / College diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in commercial account management and commercial lending.
  • Excellent knowledge of the marketplace, particularly with respect to SME and MidMarket commercial lending space.
  • Relationship driven, strong ability to establish, maintain, and manage client relations.
  • Ability to consult, counsel, and support to clients commercial and personal financial needs.
  • Excellent team player with goal-focused mindset.
  • Willing to travel as needed.
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese an asset.
  • Fluency in another language an asset Key Qualifications :
