Our Montreal location in Quebec, Canada is currently seeking talent to fill the position of Analyst, Logistics. This job is temporary, full-time.

Your challenges :

Reporting to the Supervisor, Logistics Analysis, the Analyst, Logistics will have the overall responsibility for providing required data, information, reports and KPI’s for the corporate Logistics team, relating to all logistics activities for paper, pulp and forest products in both domestic and international markets.

More specifically, you will focus on the following areas :

  • Extract required data from the Corporation’s legacy systems and, in conjunction with the implementation plan, incorporate data extraction using SAP Business Warehouse;
  • Perform weekly and monthly monitoring and maintenance on the corporate demand planning system for the pulp and paper forecasts;
  • Develop and facilitate logistics information needs through SAP Business Warehouse through project roll out;
  • Develop processes to make the required data available for use on an ongoing basis for the Logistics and Planning team;
  • Provide customized logistics reports and analysis for the managers, as required;
  • Participate in contract negotiations and in logistics operation projects;
  • Maintain necessary data inputs, collect appropriate information, and provide analytical input for the weekly S&OP report for Planning and the monthly Senior Management Report on Logistics.
  • Your profile :

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or appropriate certification in IT within a large manufacturing environment and / or equivalent business experience;
  • Minimum 1-3 years Logistics experience within a large scales manufacturing environment in a similar role;
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully design processes and provide analysis for a large Logistics Team;
  • Excellent knowledge of ERP / MRP applications software especially inventory management and production planning;
  • Very good working knowledge of MS Office (Power User);
  • Use and / or exposure to SAP (asset);
  • Strong communication skills in English and French (verbal and written) and presentation competencies.
