Our Alexandria office is looking for an Intermediate Technician to join the team and own the following responsibilities :
Efficiently work on engagement assignments, including review, compilation, and bookkeeping engagements, in addition to personal and corporate tax returns
Participate in preparation and completion of working papers, financial statements and tax returns for compilation and review engagements according to Firm and regulatory standards for clients in a variety of businesses
Effectively lead coordination of tax assignments including preparation of tax returns (T1, T2s, T4s, T5s, HST), and with the tax department to ensure queries are cleared and deadlines are met
Build positive working relationships with clients and assist them in accounting software, bookkeeping, and data entry as assigned

Y our experience and education
You have completed your Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Accounting or Business
You have previous experience with accounting programs including Caseware, Caseview, QuickBooks, Sage and TaxPrep
You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
