Let's talk about the Bar Manager position!

The Bar Manager is the connection between management and staff members, ensuring all updates are implemented by the whole team, and any notes or changes are carried out.

They will have a focus on working with the bartenders to keep the bar operating at its best, and will act as a leader among the bar team.

The Bar Manager will lead a team of highly trained and motivated staff to create a positive work environment to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

This position is an essential addition to our team with tons of growth potential. We are interested in a candidate with plans for a long-term commitment and full availability including weekends and holidays.

What will be your responsibilities?

  • Support and involve yourself with a high energy, passionate team
  • Handle difficult situations and tackle them with the tools that we provide or that you choose to bring to the table
  • Table touching, ensuring all guests are receiving that wow’ experience
  • Lead, coach, and mentor your team to embrace the Canadian Brewhouse values and culture
  • Working closely with your Assistant and General Manager to ensure all ordering and tasks are completed to successfully run the store
  • Lead the bar team with passion and knowledge
  • Take care of miscellaneous bar tasks such as ordering, organization, etc.
  • Requirements

  • Passion for people - experience in supervisor role is necessary, food industry is a perk!
  • Willingness to learn and expand your knowledge, as well as grow as an individual
  • Dedication to learning a large database of many Brewhouse procedures - including food, drinks, policies, training programs, values, processes, the list goes on!
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively
  • Ambition and drive to create the best experience for your team and guests
  • A drive to find solutions rather than point out problems
