The Regina Area with the Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking a Pediatrician with Pediatric Clinical Immunology and Allergy fellowship training to join its Department of Pediatrics.
The specialist would join 1 Pediatric Clinical Immunologist and Allergist, 12 Pediatricians, 1 Developmental Pediatrician, 1 Pediatric Nephrologist and 5 Neonatologists.
Pediatricians within the department provide a range of clinical services including community clinics, pediatric outpatient ambulatory services, Wascana Children’s Program for children with developmental needs, normal newborn care, a 26 bed NICU and a 28 bed inpatient pediatric teaching unit and high acuity area.
Children requiring PICU care are transferred to a provincial PICU in Saskatoon following stabilization.
The Regina Area with the Saskatchewan Health Authority is dedicated to learning and is a partner in the growing educational needs of medical students and residents from the College of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan.
The ideal candidate will hold certification or be eligible for certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Pediatrics and have completed additional fellowship training in Pediatric Clinical Immunology and Allergy.
This individual should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management, and function well in a high volume environment with a commitment to provision of high quality patient and family centered care.
Candidates should be eligible for provisional or regular license through the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan.
