We are pioneering the digitalization of transformers, while working on the frontier of renewable energy and ultra-high voltage AC & DC applications.
Manages all aspects related to operations of a local manufacturing unit including the full scope of Production, Engineering, Project Management and Production Scheduling.
Accountable for on time delivery, safety, cost, quality and inventory.
Manage overall manufacturing operations of the organization and a staff involved in the operations of the factory including SIOP process.
Implements continuous improvement methodologies to increase productivity and reduce costs.
Develops programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations.
Collaborates with Operational Excellence teams to integrate lean manufacturing principles into production processes.
Develops and executes plans to reduce non-value added costs, increase revenues, and delight customers by delivering products on time with high factory and supplier yields and decreasing product field failure rates.
Ensures that 4Q Program (the standard ABB process improvement methodology) training and methods are implemented into the organization.

Ensures (with HRBP support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, for the benefit of both ABB and the employee.
Establish a strong bench strength of successors and high potentials
Support the implementation of global and domestic initiatives (OsA, SAP, SOX)
Engineering / / technical undergraduate degree
Transformer experience preferred
Overall 16 years of experience with minimum of 7 years leadership experience
Strategic development experience
Preferred P & L responsibility experience
Outstanding leadership skills
History of developing people
