Perkins+Will Toronto is looking to add to our talented team. We currently have a permanent position in our Toronto office for and experienced Architectural Technologist, who performs in a self-
directed manner in most aspects of the technical building design process, including preparation of design development and contract documents, model building and construction administration activities with routine guidance and within an established budget, schedule, site and programmatic requirements.
Applicants must have intermediate to advanced Revit skills.
As an Intermediate Technologist with the Perkins+Will team, you will :
Prepares preliminary design studies and adaptations of alternatives for review
Prepares technical drawings for design development
Adheres to firm and project goals of excellence in design, execution and sustainability
Prepares contract documents including details, sections, elevations and schedules
Produces amendments, addenda and bulletins
Assists in preparing adaptations and technical alternatives for project team review
Performs area calculations according to specified standards
Performs site analysis, including survey of existing conditions and field measurements
Performs tasks according to Perkins+Will Project Delivery Manual
Organizes and plans accordingly to execute tasks
Self-checks work for accuracy, omissions and legibility
Works effectively as part of a team
To join us, you will have :
Diploma in Architectural Technology
5-7 years’ experience in all phases and aspects of a project
Strong knowledge of architecture technology and construction documentation production
Strong Knowledge of construction materials
Proficient in of Revit, CAD, InDesgin, SketchUp, StatsLog and 3D computer modelling
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrates collaborative and professional work ethic
Preparing for licensure
