What's thejob?

As a member of the JYSKteam you are responsible for assisting the store management teamwith the day to day operation of the store.

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for theorganization and cleanliness of the warehouse in accordance withthe JYSK concept.

The successful candidate is responsible tocontrol all warehouse inventory from loss, damages and theft. Theywill unload, stock and retrieve merchandise in the backroom of thestore, while ensuring the logistics of the store are up to date.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of relevantwarehouse / back-end retail experience.

As a Warehouse Lead you will be responsiblefor :

  • Warehouse flooris to be clean and clear of garbage and clutter all timesthroughout the day.
  • All boxes areput away in a timely fashion
  • Loadingarea is neat, clean and appealing to thecustomer
  • All products are properlylabeled and open boxes are resealed and labeled immediately afteropening.
  • Missing collies, spareparts, pick-up / delivery and discontinued stickers are up to date atall times
  • Rotating stock and keepinglike items groupedtogether.
  • Complete and prepare webstore orders and deliveryorders
  • Working with management teamto ensure write off’s are cleareddaily
  • Ensure accurate picking andshipping of customer’s orders
  • Safehandling of JYSK Merchandise to preventdamages
  • Providing exceptionalcustomer service to allcustomers
  • Assisting with the salesfloor, ensuring the store is clean, full and priced and ready forpromotions
  • Supervise, coach andtrain all warehouse personnel on Warehouse teamprocedures
  • Following all health andsafety procedures as set out by thecompany
  • Ensuring the forklift andother warehouse equipment are being maintained

    Work requires moderatephysical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity.While performing duties of this job, the Colleague will regularlysit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch.

    Colleague willfrequently lift, sort, carry, and place merchandise and supplies ofvarying sizes weighing up to 20 kg without assistance and over 20kg with team lifting.

    Work requires climbing up and down ladders,and working at heights.
