Waste Connections, Inc. is currently looking for a Retention Sales Representative for Penn Waste in Manchester, PA .

Job Duties :

  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Negotiate and complete sales / renewal agreements within established guidelines and pricing.
  • Maintain established cold calls, face to face contacts and closures / renewals. Will be required to meet at customer locations.
  • Represent Penn Waste at trade association meetings and outside events to promote products and services.
  • Participate in outside groups meetings and functions in order to promote Penn Waste products and service (i.e. Rotary, YEA, etc.)
  • Assists the Director of Sales Development with sales forecasting activities. Sets performance goals in conjunction with established strategic goals.
  • Monitors and reports to the Director Sales Development activities and products offered by the competition and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Supports the Sales Department in presentations of meeting topics, to include but not limited to, best practices and motivational contests.

  • Qualifications :

  • 2+ years outside sales / B2B experience preferred
  • Solid Waste industry experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Reliable transportation
