Sorry, this service is unavailable for the momentCoordinator, InventoryThe Inventory Coordinator sees to the compliance of procedures related to the control and monitoring of the inventory.

Under the responsibility of the Inventory Manager, the Coordinator is responsible for physically and logically structuring the stock in order to facilitate and simplify inventory taking and consequently, facilitate operational and production flow.

Tasks and Responsabilities

  • Work closely with the Inventory Manager;
  • Examine material management between departments and between entities, then, take corrective actions if necessary;
  • Train the personnel responsible for stock in each department and work in close collaboration with them;
  • Coordinate sporadic inventory taking for named services, compile data, carry out analyses which will indicate the needed readjustments to be made and communicate the final results for each inventory to the concerned persons;
  • Take inventory of targeted products according to a calendar established by the inventory control service;
  • Carry out the verification of transactions that cause irregularities within the Navision system (Supply requests, transfers, the nomenclature for sold products, etc.);
  • Ensure the planning for restocking the Tennessee plant;
  • Analyze historical data of one or more products in particular and, when required, produce various reports through Navision for various services;
  • Analyze inventory transactions, especially adjustments that were made, and update clarifications and reconciliations for the adjustments;
  • Train employees in procedures relating to the inventory, for production and, as needed, for the Navision system;
  • Help and support the supervisors, team leads and their assistants, with managing their inventory in compliance with established procedures and explain the logic supporting Navision, in order that they may make their own corrections in certain situations and for irregularities related to production and transactions;
  • Help to structure stock for different departments in order to simplify inventory taking and to facilitate the operations and production flow;
  • Create inventory files per article and keep them updated.
  • Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or the equivalent.
  • Between 18 months and 3 years experience holding a similar position.
  • Demonstrated Skills

  • Ability to read, understand and write label contents.
  • Ability to work in the context of continuous improvement.
  • Excellent Customer service aptitudes.
  • Ability to lift weights of at least 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent capacity for adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
  • Organizational skills, attention for details, thoroughness.
  • Bilingualism, French, and English (spoken and written).
  • Good knowledge of MS Office suite.
  • Knowledge of Navision 2015 software, an asset.
