The Decision Support Analyst develops and supports Logistics applications and processes to enable day to day decision making, with efficiency and effectiveness.

You will provide technical expertise, automation solutions, analysis and reporting on essential Logistics processes and KPIs.

The Decision Support Analyst also works with resources from across the organization including Logistics, Merchandising, Distribution, Transportation, Finance, and IT. What you’ll do

  • Work closely with a team of decision support / business analysts to support, design, develop and document applications, while aligning to IT and industry standards
  • Collaborate with users to understand, define and document business and technical needs and translate into user requirements to create tools and automation solutions
  • Challenge the status quo to find alternative / creative ways to improve business processes
  • Provide ad-hoc information, reports and databases to support the business in decision making
  • Actively work to remain knowledgeable in latest coding languages, software and standards

  • Database development experience using SQL Server 2012 or higher
  • Proven knowledge of ETL processes and SSIS package creation and deployment
  • Experience with .Net framework 3.5 or higher using VB.NET, C#, and Visual Studio 2010 or higher
  • Web development experience using ASP.Net Web Forms
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Access
  • Familiarity with Robotics Automation software such as RPA Express
  • Familiarity and willingness to learn newer data analysis tools such as Hadoop, Python, Knime and R in working with Data Lake architecture
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communications skills along with the ability to prepare / present data and analysis to various audiences
  • Ability to work as a team member or individually to achieve business solutions, with a strong customer focus
  • Ability to adapt and embrace change in processes, operations and technology
  • Passionate about leveraging emerging technologies to simplify processes
  • Supply Chain and Retail experience is an asset
