Your Role : To provide hands-on leadership to warehouse employees by training, monitoring, and evaluating assigned personnel and by actively leading the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of product in a manner consistent with company culture, service, and cost objectives.

Additionally this role will include :

  • Ensuring that all employees are trained and developed to meet employee safety, food safety and productivity standards
  • Planning inbound and outbound process flow throughout a designated shift
  • Leading continuous improvement efforts while applying lean thinking and tools to eliminate waste
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Role Specifics :

  • Supervises Warehouse workers
  • Schedule Monday through Thursday Day Shift Each shift is 10 hours long.
  • Travel Approximately two times per year to company meetings and planning events. Must have the ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train
  • Certifications Must be able to obtain electric pallet jack, reach truck and forklift licenses and certifications
  • We Need You To Have :

  • High School Diploma or general equivalent degree
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • We’d Like You To Have :

  • Previous successful leadership experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Working knowledge of distribution or warehouse processes or systems
