The Senior Strategy Manager will work collaboratively to manage large and complex deals, forge strategic partnerships and enable rapid revenue growth.

We are looking for someone who is a true utility player and can wear many hats as strategist, project manager, and creative thinker.

You have a can-do’ attitude and are willing to roll up your sleeves to get things done. But most importantly, you are a leader who understands the importance of building and maintaining meaningful relationships with various prospects, clients, and partners.

Here’s how

  • Support deal cycle for large and complex deals from start to end including market research, opportunity assessment, development of proposals, recommendation on solutions and contract negotiation and execution
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Legal, Privacy, Security and other key stakeholders to competitively position our solutions and close deals
  • Assist in identifying, assessing and managing strategic partnership agreements
  • Use your business and financial acumen to lead the creation of business cases
  • Evaluate emerging market trends (e.g., new technologies, competitor initiatives) and conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and impacts
  • Undertake ownership and delivery of results on special projects identified by the leadership team; examples for such projects include strategic partnership reviews, M&A projects, new corporate priorities that require immediate attention, process improvement initiatives, etc
  • Qualifications

    You're the missing piece of the puzzle

  • Strong business and financial acumen including proven experience leading negotiations and structuring deals : establishing contract terms and conditions like pricing, performance management and service level agreement (SLA) development, drafting legal agreements, risk mitigation, etc
  • High degree of comfort with ambiguity and forging new paths
  • Ability to drive results through building trust and loyalty, resulting in solid relationships with key decision-makers and strategic alliances
  • Confident, and a track record of taking initiative, and driving results with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to maintain perspective and confidence in face of difficult contract negotiations, tight deadlines and client expectations
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience; having some time with a consulting firm would be very desirable
  • Great-to-haves

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree
  • Deep understanding of the Canadian Health Care environment
