Infrastructure Analyst Summary : As an IT Infrastructure Analyst, you will be part of a team that provides clients with network infrastructure support for a wide range of issues across a diverse client pool.
Support can range from installation, maintenance, configuration and troubleshooting of hardware and software on network infrastructure and servers.
You will act as an escalation point to other team members. You will be responsible for following, maintaining, and creating network documentation, standards, and procedures.
As an Infrastructure Analyst, you will be accountable for :
Respond to client requests by phone or email consistently within the expected timeframe
Successfully handle a throughput of 4-8 infrastructure related requests per day
Communicate early and often with clients and teammates regarding outstanding issues
Solve a wide range of business and productivity issues using trusted technology
Provide onsite support when remote support is not possible
Create and maintain network documentation, every time
Implement solutions utilizing simple, proven technologies
Deliver only tested solutions addressing the root cause of an issue
Accurately determine proper course of action when facing conflicting priorities
Update ticketing system in real-time
Train and mentor new team members
Assist with Project tasks when additional resources are required

Infrastructure Analyst requirements :
Post-Secondary Certificate or Diploma in computer science, engineer, business or other related field.
4+ years as a system analyst, network analyst or related experience
Strong working knowledge of Windows Server environments including Windows 2003, 2008, 2008R2, 2012, 2012R2, 2016
Proficiency in MS Office applications and Office 365, desktop operating systems (Windows and / or Mac), Terminal Services, VPN technologies, MS Exchange Server, LAN / WAN network topologies, Anti-virus solutions, firewall technologies, and familiarity with MS Windows Server operating systems.
Proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Powershell Administration
Exceptional troubleshooting skills and understanding of TCP / IP and networking technologies
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 migrations and management
Knowledge of and some experience with Google Apps migration and management is an asset, but not required
Knowledge of and some experience with Microsoft Azure, WVD, SharePoint or Amazon AWS is an asset, but not required
Microsoft Certification MCSA, MCSE is an asset, but not required
Citrix Certification and VMWare Certification is an asset, but not required
