We want you to join us as a member of our collaborative and forward-thinking Operations team! Working in a dynamic and cross-
functional environment, you will be responsible for routine vehicle maintenance of Town fleet vehicles and equipment and those of external fleet clients.
Reporting to the Fleet Manager, you will perform oil changes, tire rotations, replace various parts, diagnose problems, and take part in vehicle assessments.
You will also be responsible for conducting minor maintenance activities as part of the Fleet Department’s roadside assistance and support.
Working closing with the Fleet Department, you will maintain vehicle engines and ensure engines are functioning well for internal and external clients.
We are seeking a dynamic driven self-starter who thrives in a team-based environment and wants to make a meaningful contribution.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or recognized equivalent, which is complimented by a minimum of one (1) year experience working in an automotive repair shop atmosphere performing routine maintenance activities on vehicles and equipment.
You will have good mechanical aptitude and knowledge of fleets tools and equipment, and the ability to safely operate a variety of fleet vehicles and equipment.
A valid Class "G" driver's license in good is required, a Class D driver’s license with Z air brake endorsement would be considered an asset.
