Ontario Shores is seeking a Psychologist, who is a motivated, self-starter, to build capacity and provide manualized CBT for adults with mild to moderate depression and anxiety, in a primary care setting.
You will work with an interprofessional team to provide peer consultation, education in the provision of manualized Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Position responsibilities also may include, supervising students, as well as initiating research projects (which may include quality improvement and program evaluation initiatives).
The successful candidate will have a Doctoral level Psychology degree, preferably with 3 years clinical and / or research experience in the field of severe and persistent mental illness, combined with being registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.

Experience providing, teaching and supervising evidence-based therapies, in particular CBT.
Expertise in developing assessment protocols to clarify diagnosis and contribute to evidence-based clinical management and assessment of patients with a serious mental illness and / or personality disorder is important.
Experience with program evaluation is required.
A demonstrated interest and aptitude for academic activities, including teaching graduate students and the ability to conduct independent research relevant to the Outpatient Program are definite assets.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment, are essential..
