Purpose of the Job :
The primary objective of the Activation Experience Representative is to build brand & offer awareness, fulfill or new refer business opportunities, execute on our partnership Agreement with the City of Hamilton and be an Ambassador (Brand Ambassador for both Meridian & the Hamilton Farmers' Market).
As our Meridian Credit Union Activation team member, you will help lead the creation and execution of brand awareness within the Hamilton Community through the location of the Hamilton Farmers’ Market.
You will be instrumental in attracting and referring new Members (Retail & Small Business) in the Market and build strong relationships with the vendors at the Market.
You will be instrumental in advocating and representing the Meridian brand and what we stand for. You will be providing a range of services to Members including responding to inquiries, analyzing needs and assisting Members and Prospects to utilize the product or service which best meets those needs.
Grow relationships and share of wallet; identify potential referrals to the lending and investment area; refer Members to local branches;
and resolve problems with Member accounts. Promote and demonstrate the Meridian Credit Union values in day-to-day dealings with Members, Prospects, co-
workers and within the community.
This position is ideal for those that are out-going, engaging, sales & service oriented and have an entrepreneur spirit.
Key Responsibilities :
Be engaging within the community and promoting Meridian products actively
Be a brand ambassador and actively engage community for new on-boarding opportunities
Be an effective team player working co-operatively with your peers within the branch and across Meridian including corporate office and other delivery partners.
Develop goals with Manager that are clearly defined, measurable and achievable, and align them to business unit and strategic priorities for Meridian
Actively participate and support the team in the planning process, assisting with implementation of initiatives and events and providing feedback.
Strive to increase Member satisfaction through providing accurate, timely, welcoming and professional service.
Provide a consistent superior Member experience through the identification and promotion of products and services. Where appropriate provide qualified referrals based on the needs identified through proactive probing and identifying local branches that match Members / Prospects geographical area
Maintain discretion and confidentiality to respect Members privacy.
Identify and fulfill Member financial service requests and identify opportunities to further deepen relationship / share of wallet.
Promote Meridian Credit Union in your community by participating in and being involved in community activities or events while demonstrating the Company values.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills :
Able to work independently and is self-driven
Sales oriented with previous experience in a front line sales role or service related industry.
High School diploma or relevant working experience
Flexible to work evenings and weekends, working knowledge of computer systems.
Ability to make decisions, act decisively and provide friendly and personable service.
