Software testing coordinator
Why join our Display Solutions team? CMC Electronics’ display solutions team works on international cockpit display programs for commercial and military Aircraft.
As the software testing coordinator of this team, you will act as the main interface with the offshore testing team to ensure they produce work of high quality.
This is a key function for the certification and the deployment of our new avionics software or their updated versions.
As our software testing coordinator your day-to-day responsibilities will include :
Work closely with the team to refine our testing strategy to ensure the highest standards of quality for our airborne software and to meet certification objectives;
Provide weekly feedback to the test teams on the quality of their work through audits to ensure that : The functional aspects of the functions being developed are fully tested;
The testing is being done as per our standards;
Ensure that the flight certification lab is functional and troubleshoot issues when required to enable the right tools for the testing teams;
Help prepare for and participate to the stage of involvement audits (SOI#3) with certification authorities such as Transport Canada and FAA;
Act as the main point of contact between the testing team and other stakeholders to ensure their work is well aligned.
To join our team , you must :
Hold a Bachelor degree in Engineering specialized in software, information technology or avionics;ANDHave a minimum of 3 years’ experience in software testing for embedded software,
Experience with low-level requirement test (LLR) and high-level requirement test (HLR);
Good understanding of C++ and C coding languages;
Strong work ethics and experience coding with rigorous standards ;
