The role

As a Program & Strategy manager you will be responsible for driving the programs and long-term strategic goals of the Freedom Mobile Supply Chain organization.

Your role will be to partner with senior leaders to quantify, measure, and identify opportunities, both in steady state as well as in changing operational environments, and keep stakeholders, including senior executives, informed through your effective communication and presentation skills.

A typical day

  • Lead and work as part of a team to develop long-term strategic world-class supply chain solutions.
  • Lead the collaboration with stakeholders to fully understand the challenges, goals and strategy of the business.
  • Analyze cost, performance and financial models to develop fact-based solutions across a large breadth of engagement types including but not limited to : demand planning & life cycle management, transportation, warehousing, and reverse logistics.
  • Create communications, presentations & reports for a broad audience including senior executives.
  • Oversee multiple projects and establish regular stakeholder update meetings to manage performance and results, while providing timely feedback;
  • identify performance drivers and limitations.

  • Develop reusable frameworks for complex processes to be used by cross-functional stakeholders, facilitate business case development, and establish best practices for executive presentations.
  • Engages with internal stakeholders to provide strategic & tactical communications to executive team
  • Conduct feasibility studies, build business cases to establish intended benefits of undertaking long term strategic projects.
  • Develop change management plans and strategies to support Business Owners in planning and implementing business initiatives.
  • Your skills / experience

  • In-depth understanding of supply chain operations to identify areas of opportunity and execute the implementation strategy.
  • Can effectively lead change; can shift gears comfortably; can act independently with minimal guidance; can comfortably handle risk and uncertainty.
  • Experience with cost benefit and business analysis, including building effective business cases.
  • 4-6 years of professional industry experience preferred; Supply chain experience developing / implementing large scale solutions.
  • Experience within larger organizations who can influence authority at all levels, collaborate, and engage across multiple functions.
  • Excellent communicator. You are a wordsmith who is articulate and succinct when building presentations, reports & briefings.
  • Proficient in MS Suite (Power Point, VISIO etc.). ERP knowledge considered an asset (e.g., Oracle)
  • Quick learner with the ability and desire to acquire new skills.
  • You like to keep yourself up to date on the latest and the greatest processes, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Business Analytics, or related field.
