We are presently looking for a new member to join our Windsor Plant 1 team as:

  MOLD PROCESS TECHNICIAN

Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with good communication skills and would be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Mold set-up as required
  • Ensure proper set up as set out by the Production Shift Supervisor
  • Monitor and make process adjustments as required to maintain quality and productivity levels.
  • Direct  Set-up technicians, in a manner conductive to their development and education.
  • Good understanding of tooling as it relates to plastic injection molding
  • Strong knowledge of the properties of various materials utilized in the injection molding process.
  • Promote an atmosphere of team work at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Recommend and participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
  • Comply with established rules, procedures and Health & Safety mandates
  • Abide by the Company Value Statement and the Company Standard Code of Conduct.
  • Completion of any other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR DESIGNATION REQUIREMENTS:

  •  Must possess a secondary school diploma or equivalent, with preference given to those who have completed related post-secondary education

 
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  •  Must have at least 3-5 years' experience in safely setting up injection mold presses and an excellent working knowledge of molds and molding presses.

 OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  •  Ability to work quickly and efficiently and the ability to work in an unsupervised environment
  • Must have reliable transportation, and willing and able to work all three shifts (Days, Afternoons, Midnights)
