We are looking for a natural leader who is motivated to coordinate the logistics between different departments, reporting to the Operations Manager, the Shift Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the completion of all operations functions by successfully delegating operations tasks and prioritizing daily workload

Salary : $18.50 / hour + $1 / hr night premium
Ensure all daily production KPIs are met or exceeded
Provide detailed analysis to the operations team and corrective actions to solve a variety of problems
Partner with the Production Planning team to create and execute the production plan
Monitoring and Communicating performance and quality metrics to Operations Manager
Identify, plan, and implement key projects to improve quality, reduce cost, increase productivity, and improve cycle time by reducing wasted time, scrap, rework, etc.
resulting in significant business improvement and customer satisfaction
Fostering a culture of Safety first and creating and updating SOP’s and Standard Work document
Proactively partner with Senior leadership to communicate areas in need of additional focus / training.

Education beyond High School, and / or prior experience managing group performance

Experience with any structure Process Improvement activities

Minimum Bachelors in Engineering
Ability to work flexible shifts / Schedules / Areas
Previous Manufacturing or Industrial work Experience
Experience with Planning is an asset
Ability to communicate, write and read in English
The ability to repeatedly lift 35-50 pounds
A willingness to work in a cold workplace (0 to +4 degrees Celsius)
Entrepreneurial mindset, resourceful problem-solving attitude and comfortable in a dynamic environment
Proficiency working with Microsoft Excel and Google Suites
