PURPOSE STATEMENT

The National Accounts Manager will be focused on maximizing the growth and profitability of the business, sell new products, product applications and programs with our existing customers in In-Store Bakery.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / OUTCOMES

Develop, support and manage In-Store Bakery retail accounts.

Proactively develop key initiatives and targeted value propositions to achieve sales and profit targets.

Enhance current relationships within our existing customer base and develop new customer relationships by managing their expectations and delivering an exceptional level of customer service.

Develop Annual Sales Plan and robust Account Plans while meeting established sales objectives established by the Director.

Responsible for budgets, planning and sales forecasts, making sure that all aspects of our sales and marketing strategies achieve our expected level of case sales and profit margins.

Prepare effective and professional sales reports and / or presentations.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

Post-secondary education in business or marketing.

Minimum 5 years sales experience in the food industry (multi unit account experience preferred).

Sales experience in the In-Store Bakery retail industry preferred.

Demonstrated relationship building skills.

Demonstrated financial acumen including understanding of P&L and customer cost drivers.

Demonstrated understanding of the In-Store Bakery industry.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Professional, personable, detail oriented and results driven.

PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office : Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Ability to Travel (air & automobile) 20% travel

Stand for 6 or more hours during the work day
