Overview

Come join the Intuit Canada Consumer Group (CG) as the Senior Product Marketing Manager. This is a critical role on the Canada CG Marketing Team that leads the overall go-to-market strategy for our assisted product offering, TurboTax Live.

The successful candidate will develop a deep understanding of the customer, the competitive landscape, and our offerings, to create a strategy for driving adoption of our assisted tax filing services.

This person will own the business outcomes for their marketing programs while supporting amazing end-to-end customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Development of the 1 and 3 year strategy designed to capture a greater share of the assisted tax prep space and owning the overall business results
  • Creation of customer personas for our TurboTax Live product offerings that provide rich insights for our brand and product management teams
  • Development of product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products and resonates with our target market segment
  • Identifies big insights by synthesizing inputs from multiple data sources to unlock qualitative and quantitative customer insights and future growth opportunities;
  • develops business cases and activation plans to support

  • Considers the end-to-end customer experience for his / her offering by liaising with product management and GTM team
  • Understand, identify, and recommend current and future market and positioning opportunities, including new functionality, offerings, line up revisions, and / or business models
  • Build and own the competitive intelligence framework for the assisted tax prep industry ensuring the consumer group has a deep understanding of competitive pressures.
  • Influence roadmaps and advocating for experiences that drive consideration and pay off the value proposition
  • Understand success metrics and have the ability to articulate and prioritize analytics requirements to solve the most important problems
  • Work cross-functionally to drive the integrated GTM launch plan that includes communications, channels and creative including budget management
  • Engage with the other functions; sales, finance and accounting as required
  • Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of marketing experience, including expertise in the Product Marketing function and a proven track record of bringing offerings to market
  • Customer-focused : tenacious about peeling the layers to understand customer behaviors, barriers, and beliefs and passionate about delighting customers at every touch point
  • Accountability : A clear track record and commitment to delighting customers and driving results, through rapid iteration and learning
  • Strategic and analytical thinker : Energized by mining complex data for insights, and application through hypothesis-based thinking
  • Proven track record in driving integration across digital marketing channels
  • Can synthesize data to find overlooked conclusions and develop workable solutions, which result in business growth
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of focusing on high impact activities & driving initiatives through to execution
  • Innovative thinker with a passion for generating new ideas, nurturing a culture of creativity, & continuing to raise the bar on business performance
