  • As an intermediate level staff accountant, you will be an integral part of our team. You will have the opportunity to continue to develop your career, while working with a collaborative and supportive team.

    Your primary responsibilities will include :

    What your days will look like :

  • Preparation of compilation, review and audit engagements
  • Preparation of corporate, personal and trust income tax returns
  • Developing and maintaining positive and productive working relationships
  • Developing strong technical audit, accounting and tax skills
  • Delivering to the highest service standards
  • Collaborating to ensure we provide an integrated financial and business solution that meets our clients' needs
  • Delivering completed files for review on a timely basis
  • Taking primary responsibility and ownership of files by independently managing workflow and presenting complete work product to partners on a timely basis
  • Understanding client industries and recognizing key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments
  • Identifying and resolving accounting, audit and tax issues
  • Developing more junior staff by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the team
  • A successful candidate will have :

    What you will bring to the table :

  • A CPA designation or in pursuit of designation
  • 2+ years of progressive public accounting experience
  • Experience working with clients in a variety of industries, including not-for profit
  • Proven technical skills in accounting and assurance
  • Exceptional communication skills
