As a member of this team, you will be responsible for :
Supporting the HR Relationship Manager by planning and implementing customized HR solutions to meet business objectives
Providing direct business partner HR support and advice on a wide range of HR functions including interpretation of employment legislation and corporate policies, performance management, employee relations, career development, coaching, discipline, reward & recognition and exit strategies
Coordinating and conducting termination processes and employee exit interviews
Working with the HR team to coordinate employee STD, LTD and other leaves
Focusing on team objectives and deliverables as outlined in the HR Strategic Priorities
Initiating HR process improvements, process mapping / documentation practices, standards and procedures
Participating in cross-function projects as required
Conducting program implementation (training and presentations) on various HR topics.
Preparing ad hoc reports as needed
Assisting in special projects or assignments as required
To succeed in this role, you have :
5-7 years progressive HR experience across multiple HR disciplines (e.g. employee relations, compensation, benefits, recruitment, training & development, organization development, etc.)
Experience in the investment industry with direct recruitment experience.
Completed post-secondary education, preferably in Human Resources Management or Business Administration.
Professional HR designation is an asset.
Ability to translate business needs into HR plans and programs that support the achievement of client goals and objectives.
Proven experience interpreting and advising on policies and practices related to employment legislation, employee relations, performance management, compensation, change management.
Ability to work independently and as a team.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Solid leadership, coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution and relationship management skills.
Excellent communication skills (listening, verbal, written, presentation preparation and delivery)
Excellent time and project management skills with proven organizational and multi-tasking proficiency.
Organizational agility, with a high level of comfort in dealing with employees at all levels.
Ability to build rapport and maintain high level of confidence and integrity at all levels of the organization.
Strong computer skills including experience working with HRIS and MS Office
