As a member of the national HR team, based in Montreal, the Human Resources Business Partner provides organizational support to all Canadian branches and regions in all areas of Human Resources.
Reporting to the Director, People and Engagement who is based in Montreal, the successful candidate will be an autonomous, broadly skilled HR professional looking for a growing and developing organization.

Providing front-line HR support and developing partnerships while providing day to day advice and counsel on HR related matters
Coaching, supporting, and challenging leaders and managers in their HR practices, providing advice and guidance on HR policies and HR issues
Responding to all inquiries regarding employment issues, HR policies, etc. to all levels of staff in addition to providing proactive advice and recommendations where applicable
Leading talent acquisition process in collaboration with other HR members and hiring managers in all regions
Assisting the orientation and training programs of all new reviewing policy manual, benefits plan, enrolment process, and other employee programs, etc.

Assisting all managers and employees with the performance appraisal process
Communicating employee assistance program to all employees
Assisting with pay and employment equity
Participating in HR projects such as system improvements or new program development
Delivering training for organizational HR initiatives
Face-to-face HR support for all regions and branches
Undergraduate degree in human resources or commerce business, or related field and / or a minimum of 8 years equivalent experience
Experience in effective communication (oral and written) in English and French and facilitation skills required
Excellent interpersonal and people management skills
Excellent judgment, analytical and problem-solving skills in establishing strategies and resolving HR matters
Coaching abilities to support our leaders in their growth
The ability to deal with sensitive and highly confidential issues
Proven experience with federal; and provincial Labor Standards
Autonomous team player, self-motivated, flexible and adaptable individual, with proven leadership skills
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) in English and French coupled with strong interpersonal skills
An undergraduate degree in Commerce or Administration, with a minor / specialization in Human Resources Management and / or8-10 years of relevant experience
Good proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and HR systems
