Overview

The successful candidate will plan, direct and coordinate all operational activities. Will be responsible for improving performance, productivity, efficiency and leading the organization to meet / exceed our operational metrics.

The candidate will manage team leaders, configuration technicians, and repair technicians.

What We Need & What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Lead the team to meet / exceed all departmental metrics
  • Peak performer in meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Takes full responsibility for the day-to-day operational activities
  • To comply with Health, Safety and Environmental rules / Act to ensure the safety of all employees plus contractors and stakeholders
  • Improving performance, productivity, efficiency of direct reports
  • Provide leadership with a Service provider style and the utmost respect
  • Communicate regular status updates on critical or unique opportunities
  • Commitment to quality
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators of projects in operations
  • Improve operational systems, processes and best practices that guarantee organizational well being
  • Who You Are (Qualifications)

  • 5+ years people management (supervisor or manager level) experience
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree with technical or business emphasis and 5-7 years of related experience in Operations or repair depot and / or warehouse management or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Ability to clearly communicate (read / write / speak) in English
  • Position reports directly to the Operations Director
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks
  • Working knowledge of budgets, forecasting and metrics
  • Ability to not just manage but lead your team
  • Intermediate Level usage of Microsoft Office Products
  • Flexible in hours as workflow demands
  • Ability to handle change / prioritize workload as required under pressure
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Good problem solver / analytical thinker
  • Strong communication skills
