You can trace its wonderful levels of service, integrity, and customer care to the genuine people employed by this Vancouver-
based family office. With a core business in automotive dealerships and significant real estate holdings, the family has reinvested significant assets into the company, operations, and strategy, and has set a goal to achieve double-
digit growth. Over the past 25 years, the founders and owners of the business have hired good, smart people and supported them with a collaborative, community-
minded culture. Now, with more than 400 employees and five full-service dealerships, the company is managing to keep its character while it grows.
In this newly created, senior management team position, you will add your financial and entrepreneurial leadership to a company that’s dedicated to best-
in-class service to its customers.
Your hands-on guidance of finance, oversight of IT and data, and solutions-oriented leadership will figure prominently in that growth.
With your finance team, you will work closely with the dealership general managers to identify and manage key performance indicators that measure and support operations.
You’ll ensure that the business units are accountable for their goals and numbers. You’ll provide strategic guidance, subject matter expertise and support where they need it.
In this Chief role, your financial leadership will extend to the company’s real estate activities, ancillary businesses, and new ventures.
You’ll also take an active role in the organization’s well-developed philanthropic activities. Be a champion of the corporate culture and community connections and act as a key advisor to the ownership family on financial planning and asset management.
You need not have experience in an automobile dealership business. You may have gained your financial leadership credentials within retail, hospitality, real estate, large family business, or heavy equipment company.
As a CFO or VP, you have been responsible for the full slate of classic finance activities and perhaps IT, HR, financial planning, and risk management.
With the company poised to take the next logical step in its evolution, you will join and thrive with a team of bright, genuine people who are committed to doing business and corporate citizenship the right way.
