SUMMARY

The TFMS Planning & Reporting Analyst is responsible for supporting planning, tracking and reporting of project assignments and labour for the variable resource pool to ensure optimal use of resources across the national program of work.

They will support reporting and data analysis for the TFMS service line and will prepare reports that enable Sr leaders to make well-informed business decisions.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

WA & Project Schedule Development

  • Supports the Program Directors by preparing schedules for new projects and assigning resources. Works collaboratively to refine and finalize.
  • Support Studio leads with schedule updates as required through the life cycle of the project.
  • Communicate project schedules and milestone deliverable dates to studio leads at project initiation.
  • Resource Assignment & Tracking

  • Manages the database of resources and available labour to provide recommendations for project assignments to Program directors.
  • Manages consolidated view of national projects resource demand.
  • Reports on forecasted labour requirements at the project, studio and national levels.
  • Reports on actual labour spend vs forecast at the project, studio and national levels.
  • Tracks resource availability including vacation tracking.
  • Reporting & Analytics

  • Compiles and maintains large volume of project data within information management systems to support various reporting, benchmarking and analytical requirements.
  • Generates and compiles data from multiple data sources using various business intelligence tools and information management systems.
  • Develops new reports as required to support business decision making.
  • Supports monthly governance reporting to the client for all regions.
  • Provides analytical support to identify trends, risks and opportunities for the service line.
  • Risk Management Support

  • Support financial risk management by providing required data and analytics.
  • Tool Development

  • Provides support in the development of new workbooks, analytical tools as required by the team to improve work effectiveness / efficiency for administration of projects.
  • KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Computer proficiency in relational databases, reporting tools, MS Office including MS Access and MS Excel and Power BI with ability to learn new information management systems quickly.
  • Experience creating schedules with complex parameters.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Project or other similar programs to generate and manage schedules. (Experience creating reports, providing analysis of data)
  • Very strong attention to detail Experience working with in a team.
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
  • Ability to handle a large volume of information and accurate management of large datasets.
