The opportunity :

We want to hire an experienced Agile Coach who will inspire our squads to reach their full potential. Reporting to the Manager of Agile Transformation, you will play a key role in defining and implementing Intact’s Agile practices.

  • Advise and support managers in the implementation of an agile approach in the context of continuous delivery.
  • Coaching (including training and mentoring) of scrum masters, product owners and other stakeholders involved in agile approaches to help them deepen their agile knowledge and capabilities.
  • Coach teams (both squad and management) in the implementation of agile practices
  • Understand and identify the fears and resistances to change and provide change management support.
  • Identify training requirements and provide recommendation to management when appropriate.
  • Ensure efficient use of agile tools (jira, confluence) and coach on best software engineering practices XP) that support agility
  • BE aware of best and new practices and tendency in regards to agile in order to recommend changes and foster innovation.
  • Your Skills

  • University degree in IT or related field
  • In dept knowledge of software engineering best practices (XP)
  • 7 years of experience as an Agile team coach, trainer, or Scrum Master (project or team management)
  • Mastery of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc)
  • Knowledge of scaling principles & frameworks (SAFe, Less, Nexus, etc)
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of continuous integration and delivery (DevOps) (a nice to have)
  • Experience using Change Management methodologies (a nice to have)
  • Strong facilitation and leadership skills
  • Very comfortable with Jira & Confluence
  • Great strategic, political and relational skills
  • Bilingualism (English & French) verbal & written
