    Our client, a company operating in the parapublic sector, is looking for an administrative agent, client relationship in residential real estate (NPO) for its Montreal establishments and residences.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement rental strategies in collaboration with management, and make appointments and rental visits to the units
  • Prepare the documentation and procedures necessary for the rental of units Update lists and housing change requests
  • Prepare and issue lease renewal notices based on rate increases and other modifications
  • Coordinate with the Director of Operations and proceed with the physical installations within the restoration deadlines
  • Collect rent, prepare and make bank deposits Follow up on accounts receivable and collections if necessary
  • Manage the petty cash
  • Assist management in budget planning and monitoring
  • Enter and update necessary data
  • Verify the compliance of data entered on invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes and other documents
  • Codify invoices according to budget codes and enter invoices in the accounting software
  • Manage all complaints and claims related to the rental of units according to regulations, standards, procedures and various programs
  • Act as a mandatary for the Régie du Logement in litigious files
  • Represent our company and plead before the Régie du Logement in rent cases, lease termination for non-payment and the causes of recovery of material damage
  • Recommend and process service requests to the legal department or an external lawyer, if applicable
  • Ensure the administrative preparation of litigious files for a hearing
  • Recommend and proceed with any request to another department, including the service of a social worker after authorization
  • Perform other related tasks

  • Temporary position for an indefinite duration
  • Full time - 35 hrs / wk
  • Schedule Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Location accessible by public transport
  • OUR REQUIREMENTS

  • Secondary 5 (DES) or professional diploma (DEP), or Diploma of college studies (DEC) in a discipline oriented towards office work (office automation, accounting or secretarial work)
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience
  • Valid class 5 driver's license required
  • Excellent customer service
  • Goal-oriented and able to accomplish a high volume of work
  • Good knowledge of office automation and the usual software (Office Suite)
  • Strong writing skills in French (correspondence, reports, recommendations, etc.);
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Empathetic, patience, autonomous and resourceful
  • Warm, pleasant, and a calm demeanour
