Position Description :

As a Network Administrator on our team, you will be working on several initiatives within the business. This role will require communication and interaction with internal and external clients to ensure professionally managed services of a variety of technologies and projects.

The Network Administrators troubleshoot issues and develop new enhancements to achieve targeted results. If you have experience in managing a diverse network environment with emphasis on firewall and related security technologies and are excited about continuous learning opportunities we want to hear from you.

Your responsibilities will include :

Your future duties and responsibilities :

  • Administration of Firewalls and LAN technologies
  • Addressing incidents and performing changes in an ITIL environment
  • Participation in problem management and avoidance strategies
  • Perform various performance and security health checks and make recommendations
  • Regular interactions and technical collaborations with architects and client counterparts
  • Participate in planning tasks and supporting team leaders in coordination of activities
  • Influence technical architecture
  • Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

    Essential Qualifications

  • Advanced working technical knowledge and experience with network firewalls, routing and switching as well as cyber security practices
  • Emphasis on Cisco ASA’s, Source fire, F5, cisco routers and switches
  • Excellent organizational skills in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self reliant, creative, and proactive
  • Customer service oriented
  • Ambition to learn new technologies
  • Willingness to be on call as needed
  • Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with server and virtualization technologies
  • Independent worker that requires little supervision beyond initial scope expectation and transfer of requirement
  • Knowledge of monitoring and alerting systems
  • Professional Attributes

  • Results-oriented with a strong track record of successful delivery
  • Participate and network externally in industry forums to share best practices and gain competitive intelligence
  • Education and Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Information Technology / Communications, or equivalent
  • ITIL certification considered an asset
