As a Senior Administrative Assistant, your key responsibilities will include : Administrative Support

  • Manages electronic and paper-based client flies
  • Assembles and filing various types of tax returns, as required
  • Preparing documents including correspondence, reports and presentations
  • Participates in development of internal systems and processes
  • Plans Tax Service Line events
  • Prepares for client meetings
  • Manages calendars
  • Manages expense reports
  • Uses STAR practice management applications to ensure proper record keeping
  • Maintains client database (CaseWare)
  • Drafts client invoices
  • Uses oneView application to track and report on client relationship management initiatives
  • Supports sector, industry and services initiatives (e.g. Manufacturing & Distribution, Agriculture, Fishing, Business Family Services, Succession & Estate Planning)
  • Other duties as assigned Client Relations
  • Identifies cross-service line opportunities
  • Conducts research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Creates plan with Partner to identify and action new client opportunities
  • Builds long term business relationships with clients
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks;
  • participating in professional organizations

  • Communicates with clients on a regular basis and responds to specific queries
  • Suggests solutions and innovative ideas to meet client needs
  • Collaborates with internal teams to address customers’ needs This role is critical in building relationships with clients.
  • The ideal candidate will take proactive ownership to ensure client satisfaction and be able to identify new opportunities to increase sales.

    Ultimately, this role will be responsible for supporting partner fee generation and strategic account targets. The responsibilities and expectations of this role may fluctuate and evolve with the future needs of the business.

  • Proven working experience in project management
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Suite, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, social media etc
  • A customer-oriented attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships
  • Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Thinks innovatively, exercises sound judgment, and is very adaptable
