Canopy Growth is looking for a Data Analyst to join our Business Analytics team. As a Data Analyst, you will help lay the data foundation of the company to be data driven.
You’ll have a chance to collaborate with various teams in the organization to understand different data and reporting requirements.

Work with structured and unstructured data to solve problems like :
Identifying and centralizing data to be the most trusted source of information in the company
Assist the business in realizing the value and importance of data in their respective business areas
Define ETL processes for consolidating data from transactional / operational systems
Build and expand the data dictionary
Produce regular reports and analysis using a range of data analytics tools
Support the business in creating ad hoc reports and troubleshooting reports
Be the data evangelist and help enable the business to be power users
Drive data quality improvements and collaborative effort towards unified enterprise Business Intelligence services
Write systems queries using SQL (MS SQL and MySQL), workbooks (MS Excel & Google Sheets), and other platform-specific query languages
Track project and task requirements, issues, deliverables, and acceptance criteria for reports and dashboards
Experience with a range of data analysis and presentation tools such as Excel and Google Sheets, Tableau, Big Query, Power BI, SSRS, Cognos, Splunk, Sumo Logic, Salesforce Einstein, Crystal Reports, etc.
Desire for tailoring your work into user-friendly dashboards in enterprise ERP and CRM platforms (NetSuite, Sage, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, etc.)
Very strong SQL knowledge and ability to write complex queries
Understanding and ability to build OLAP Cubes, Dimensional and Relational Data Models
Financial data aptitude
Comfortable with ETL, integrations, field mappings, and other data dictionary responsibilities
Experience performing statistical, time series, and cross-sectional analysis on large data sets a plus
Python data programming experience (R, NumPy, Pandas) a plus
This is a full-time position based out of Kanata.
