This role sits within LBC Tech, a subsidiary of Laurentian Bank Financial Group.
As a Senior Collibra Administrator role will be responsible for the LBCFG Enterprise Data Intelligence platform - Install, configure, and administer the platform for maximum utilization and throughput.
This candidate will work closely with Senior technology leaders and executive business stakeholders to understand business strategies and ensure technology solutions align strategically, are customer focused, while keeping an agile and innovative mindset.
Responsibilities / Duties
ºWork closely with vendor for solutions.
ºAdministration of platform and database tools.
ºUser management, patch management and tuning.
ºCollaborating across a variety of partnerships internally.
ºGood experience in Collibra installation and configuration.
ºDocuments and maintains operational procedures and processes.
ºUnderstand of change control processes and write change requests.
ºGood knowledge in public cloud (AWS, AZURE) and Tableau Server
ºPlaying a critical role in establishing, defining, scoping, and scaling the platform roadmap and priorities.
ºShould have experience in administrating data management tools like Alation, Informatics is plus.
ºExperience in administration data modelling products like ER-Studio, Erwin is plus.
ºExperience in troubleshooting issues and quickly resolve them in an efficient manner that minimizes downtime and follow up with Collibra support.
º5+ years of experience in platform administrator role supporting one more tool.
ºA solid track record of data management showing your execution and attention to detail.
ºUnderstand data lineage setup, metadata management and DG tools like Collibra IGC Alation.
ºStrong analytics skills and presentation skills to work under pressure.
ºAble to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
ºHelping team and client to resolve production issues.
ºStrong communication skills both oral and written.
